    Hello moderators I am bringing up a my minor but problematic issues with how the home Xbox and account system works currently offline. If my home Xbox is set to the living room and I am in my bedroom wanting to play offline I am in able to because it’s not my home Xbox however when I go to my living room to play offline I’m allowed because it is my home Xbox even though I am signed into both I am only allowed to play offline on my home Xbox. This makes no sense to me and yes I understand you can switch your home Xbox however you only get 5 and a bonus one roughly each year and if you contact Xbox support they are unable to do anything on their end which is quite unfortunate. I hope this gets resolved so I can continue gaming and letting your console power my dreams.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    That will not be a problem, Jakob. According to Xbox support:

    "Making a console your home Xbox gives friends and family access to your games and content when you're not signed in. Your home Xbox also lets you play your digital games offline."

    The only possible issue here is if you will be playing offline, you can only play offline on the console that is set as Home Xbox but if you will not play offline/not connected to internet, having your new Xbox not set as Home Xbox will not be an issue.

    So right now I am playing on my series X but I was playing on Fallout: New Vegas xcloud through the edge browser. I properly closed the game and logged out of xcloud. However now whilst I'm on my series X it only shows me as playing Fallout: New Vegas. No matter if I set myself as offline, restart or playing any other game it doesnt change.

    If I understood well, are you not able to install disc based games on both Xbox One console and Series X when you're offline?
    Or is this happening with only one of the two consoles?
    The issue is happening on both consoles - the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It only seems to happen with Xbox One discs. I have no issue installing Xbox 360 discs or Digital games.

    And, is this happening when you're offline?
    The issue with the Xbox One discs failing their installation at a certain percentage happens both online and offline. However, I discovered a workaround for the issue for when I am connected Online (searching for the game on the Store to initiate the download, as opposed to visiting My Games and Apps). However, I am now trying to find a solution that would allow me to install these discs while in Offline mode specifically, as the workaround doesn't work while Offline.
