Home xbox not working

I have my brothers account as my home xbox there are some things that he has that i can play but others that i cant. The game thats giving me problems is destiny 2. I already did a factory reset and downloaded the games again from his account still no change. I just changed his home xbox did a hard reset and set it back up and its the same issue. Any help would be great thank you.

If you have changed this setting 3 times in a year then You will have to contact support directly as they are the only ones that can reset that counter. Keep in mind since there is a 3 change per year limit they are not obligated to do it but definitely
worth a try.

Also, you can only have one profile and the home xbox on your console so if you already have a profile set as the home xbox on this console you will need to remove it. Good Luck!

Try logging out of your account, restarting the console and logging in again. Do you share content with anyone?

Pop, are you having problems with just Destiny 2, any other of your brother's games are available there for you?

Try to check for any updates on your console first.

After you do that, try to test downloading the game with your brother's account connected, and then, log back into your account, disconnect from his and try to play the game, keeping in mind that his account should be set as the home console in your Xbox.

Are the games yours, did you purchase them on the account you are trying to play them on? You can Log into your Microsoft account and see if they are in your purchase history here https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

If they were purchased on another account you will need to Designate your Xbox as that accounts home Xbox.. This will help https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox
