    Home Xbox Issue

Hello. My account is locked out and I cannot configure my two xbox ones to share my games I purchased. I need the 3 time per year home limit reset or else I'll have to wait a whole year to share my games between my two consoles. I have purchased all the
    games between the two consoles.

    :)

You would have to contact support to see if there is anything they can do. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

It's best not to switch between consoles unless you have to

Remembrr a non primary console can use the games as long as the purchasing gamer tag is login Rd into xbox livve

You don't have to be loged into xbox live on the primary

And they won't keep reducing the time limit

Its.best.to plan which console.isnyour main one and which isnt

All consoles have a home transfer limit that's why it's best to use tour roaming licenses

Then you probably misunderstood how purchasing on the Xbox Marketplace works.

The console doesn't "purchase" games, and you don't purchase games "for" a specific console.

Please bear with me, as this explanation is a bit lengthy. But it'll make clear why you don't need to constantly change consoles, or how to plan which console has to be the "Home Console".

To make it better understandable, let's make an analogy: Imagine, every game you buy is protected by two digital locks. In order for the game to work, it is suficcient if ONLY ONE lock can be opened. If both can be unlocked, it doesn't make a difference.

When your Gamertag purchases a game, one key for the game is added to a giant "keyring" which is stored on the Xbox Live online service for your Gamertag.

This means, that you can sign in with your Gamertag on ANY CONSOLE, and start any game you own. It doesn't matter if it's a Home Console or not. You can visit a friend, download your games, and as long as you are connected to Xbox Live, you can play your
    game. No "Home Console" needed.

Now, your other family members in your home might want to play the games you bought as well. Your Gamertag can GRANT ONE CONSOLE the privilege of being the Home Console, and that console will get an offline copy of your Gamertag's keyring.

That means, that ANYONE that signs in on that console, is able to play your games.

Ideally, you would choose a console that OTHER MEMBERS of your family use most often, and set that as your Home Console. Other members of the family should also set that console as their Home Console, so all family members can play all games.

The Home Console setting is NOT intended to "game share" your games with friends. In order to prevent "round robin" sharing of your games with multiple friends, the Home Console change was limited to 3 per year for that specific reason.

Home Console sharing (as the name "HOME" console implies) is only meant to set one console in your household as a "family" console, that allows all other family members access to each others games and Gold memberships.

So in order to share your games between your two consoles, you set the console you personally use LEAST OFTEN as your Home Console, as you have ALWAYS access to your game keys through the Xbox Live "keyring" that is stored online for your Gamertag.

As long as your gamertag is online, you can play your games, without any Home Console.

You can only change your home Xbox 3 times a year. That's pretty much it. The system you and your brother would have worked to share games if you didn't keep changing it so many times. I'm not sure why you did, but back to
what I said at the beginning of this post... You can only change your home Xbox 3 times a year so waiting is the only option I see. Have a nice day. :)

Hi, if you're having problems with the Home Xbox setting it's best to call Xbox phone support, they may be willing to check and reset the Home Xbox feature on your account.

Yes I purchased the games with my profile. And do you really think I haven't tried a hard reset a factory reset and a multitude of other things. I came here because none of the normal problem solutions worked.
