Home Xbox game sharing

setting someone else's xbox as your accounts home xbox gives you access to all the games on that xbox. trading home xboxs with another person thus shares the games between both accounts. what I need to know is.... is there a way to do it where I can share
my digital games with two of my friends? setting my xbox as their home only gives me access to theirs... I can only set one of theirs as my home, which means it seems I can only share mine with one of them... is there a way around that?

no, you can only have 1 home Xbox, and then your account can only be signed into 1 Xbox One at a time, there is no way around that.

frankly, MS is being extremely generous allowing their customers to do this, don't be greedy.

top level..... I signed up to be an ambassador 2 years ago, did it for a week, got locked out, and have not had access since.

 

point is, I'm trying to share things I bought with people who can't afford them. thats far from greedy

 

as unfortunate as it is to be a gamer that can't afford gaming(been there, done that), you should be grateful that you can share with one person, so the best you can do is either share with the poorer of the 2, or have the person you can't share with make
your Xbox their home console and then you can just buy games for them(or have they made gifting a thing yet?).

 

I agree with Zero Divided on this. We are fairly lucky so far. I can buy one copy and share it with my wife because the console she games on is the home console for my account. Someone at MS, thinking Phil Spencer but will have to look for it, said they
like the Steam model. That would mean that only one instance of a game at a time. If they ever went to that you might be able to share with more people. Maybe. But that would eliminate sharing MP games sharing if you want to play with said family/friends.
This biggest issue with this, in my view, is that it would hurt single player games but help multiplayer games. People could just share around single player without much issue but would need multiple copies to play together for those mp games. It very well
could lead to forced mp in games.
