    Hi! So I just got a new xbox and my dad, who also happens to like video games, took the old one as his. In doing this I'm game sharing with him, so my old xbox is the home one. I want to know if my new xbox, not being set as my home xbox, will have any issues saving or storing data on the xbox itself or in the cloud save since it's not the home one.

    home xbox setting is for the home not to share games with others outside of the home, sharing credentials is also against the terms and leads to a ban.

    Game sharing like this is against the code pf conduct. Home Xbox was designed to share your Live and games on your Xbox, within your home environment.

    Game Sharing is actually against the terms of use.

    The home console setting was only meant to share the games within your own household on your console not to share with your friends.
