Home Xbox Account Removal Time

Hi, i just removed an account from my home xbox, how long does it take before i'll be able to set my home xbox onto a different account? It's been 3 hours since i removed it but its still not letting me.

Hello ,
First time posting here .
So recently i bought a used xbox one with few digital games in it playable off course. As i have learned that I am able To play these games because seller has this xbox as his home console, even though there was mo sign in .
So ya , i now want to remove his account completely from this Xbox even though i will not be able
To play his games anymore.
So how to remove his home account from this xbox one? And creat
My new home account?

There's not a set time frame between when you can change your Home setting, but you are only allowed to change your Home setting 3 times a year. If the account has already reached that limit, you would have to wait a year before you can change it again.

I know you can only change 3 time a year which i haven't yet but i just wanted to know if it takes some time for the microsoft servers to process that i've removed an account so that it would let me set a different one as home xbox as it's been 3 hours already
and it's still not letting me

Removing an account form your console.doesnt have anything to do with your home console

It just removes access to something you aren't supposed to have anyways

If he changes his home console.then you lose access to his content

Your home console setting is only when 1year after the last time you used the home console setting for your profile

You should never give anyone access to your profile regardless of reason

Your profile.is for you and you alone

If you want to "share your content" that's fine but it should never be done over the Internet and only with you doing it at the said console

Also your profile should be removed afterwards

Noone not even your dog spot should know your password

Having the same issue, I reset the adult account home console and the removed the child home console settings multiple times, neither seems to make a difference. I have other accounts on the same xbox that can get on to xbox live with no issues, they are
not family accounts though.

The Home Xbox will only be removed on a device if we set it as Home Xbox again. It’s not normal for an account to be removed on a device without any changes.
