Home X Box designation Issues

I have (2 )x box one consoles in different rooms in the house. Each x box has it's own individual x box live account. I have tried switching the "Home X Box" settings in an attempt to play downloaded games purchased on one x box which will carry over and
download to the other x box by sign in preference. My issue is in not being able to switch the "Home X Box" designations which I am told will remedy this and allow the individuals playing on the two separate x boxes to play that game together and play the
game individually if one is not signed in. Option is to alleviate the purchase of two of the same games so son and daughter can play the games from separate rooms in the house. I have not switched the settings the 3 X limit however have repeatedly tried
it to an error that says "changes can not be saved....try again". Any ideas concerning the issue.

Can't play.

If you're on your "Home" X Box One and Live/Internet goes down, it's as easy as "X Box...settings...network...go offline. Now if your home X Box isn't in your home...well, what did you expect?

X-Box Live

Hi All,

I have an X-box one and my son currently has an X-box 360. The Live subscription is currently in his name and we both make use of it. We are thinking of getting him his own X-Box one for Xmas and were wondering if this will affect the way we use Live?

Also, are we likely to get any issues having 2 X-Box ones on our home Network

First of all, you need to know that any account can only have ONE Home Console. So for example, if you are the parent of two kids, each with their own console, only one kid can have your "Home Console" unlock your games for that kid. The other kid needs
to have your account signed in on a second controller to be able to play your games.

Or to make matters a bit easier: Allow ONE kid to purchase the games BOTH kids are supposed to play. For example let your daughter buy the games for both kids, and let the daughter set the son's console as her Home Console and vice versa. While being online,
the daughter can unlock her own games simply by being online, and the daughter's Home Console setting on your son's console will unlock the game for your son.

You can only set ONE console as the Home Console, and the other kid has to sign your account in on a second controller to be able to play your games.

As for resetting the Home Console setting count, you'll need to contact the official support at
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

my x box says its not my home x box after a licence transfer

First, change your Microsoft account password. Next, you MAY have one final chance to move it through Xbox Assist on your console. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to your profile pic (the far left icon) and move down to Xbox Assist, then
look for My Home Xbox. If you've already used your emergency chance to move it, you'll have to wait until the date shown on your console. This is one of the reasons why the Home Xbox feature is not designed to be passed around to other users.

Do you have it plugged into a surge protector or directly into a wall? The X Box One was designed to be plugged directly into the wall, as it has a built in surge protector. The X Box One will not receive full power if plugged into a surge protector and
may give you problems.
