Home sharing not working on Destiny The Collection

My son and I share a single console, we can both play games such as Forza, Rocket League and Destiny. Recently my son purchased Destiny The Collection and redeemed the code. Now he can access content of The Collection but I can't. I have Xbox gold live subscription.
I've checked his account and set his profile to Home Xbox to match mine but I still can't access DEstiny The Collection content. Any ideas?

Xbox Home Sharing Not Working

What it sounds like is her xbox live gold subscription has run out if you were sharing her gold subscription. you may want to check to make sure that there is still an active live subscription on the account

 

Destiny 2 Preorder Bonus Issue

My family member and I have used home sharing for Destiny since some of the earliest DLCs. My Xbox is the home for her account and I have never had any troubles getting content and the preorder bonuses and perks. However, with Destiny 2 I am missing those
bonuses. The game is working fine and nothing has changed on Bungie's end. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. The bonus content. Its on my console. When she played on my console it was there. But when I play it isn't. Can I fix this?

 

I know that Bungie does not allow The Taken King to be shared, but haven't looked into anything else. So it could be tied to that.

 

Sorry to hear it. Actually, all content in Destiny can be shared on the Xbox One. However, as your son is the one who purchased the content you have only 2 options in order to share it.

1. Your son would need to be set as Home on the console (this would not be the best option as you're the one with the gold membership)

2. Your son would need to have his account logged in while you play.

Either of these options would work as I have two consoles and each option works on both.
