So I’ve done the reset (turn box off, then back on), that didn’t seem to work.

Now, I tried to do the second reset you mentioned, but it will not let me do so. Keeps stating I need to be online to do so. It sent me to set up a network, as if I wasn’t connected. Even on home screen, I just noticed, it says : connect to the xbox network.

I just played a match, I have no idea, what I’m not connected to, where!!!
Any chance you had a power cut whilst your console was powered on? My dashboard showed the same as yours the other day when there was a power cut whilst I was gaming....after some searching, I found that the console date and time had messed up and the date was showing December 2019 (strange in and of itself given the console was, presumably, manufactured in 2020)...soon as I changed it to the correct date and time it resolved itself so may be worth checking the date and time settings on your console

Hello @CrazyCajun69! I hope that you are doing well today!

Please go ahead and do a hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a soft factory rest.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
    3. Select Reset console.
Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct email and passwords for all of the profiles plus your WIFI password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add all of the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the reset.

I hope that you are doing well!

Can’t make selections on home screen

    Hi
    WiseOleMan
    ,

Thank you for the update. Try out the following solutions:

    Go ahead and do a
    hard reset and power cycle
. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and
    turn on the Xbox.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
    soft factory reset
    .

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
    3. Select Reset console.
Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct email and passwords for all of the profiles plus your WIFI password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add all of the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to
    your network during the reset.

    Let us know the results!

Can’t make selections on home screen

    Hi
    WiseOleMan
    ,

I'm sorry to hear that you've tried that and still having issues. At this point, you may need to send in your console for repair, which is in-warranty if it is only 5 months old. I recommend further troubleshooting with Xbox customer support to talk over
what other options you may have available or help with the console repair order. You can also get more assistance with console repairs by reading this support guide: "Getting
    your product serviced
    ".

    Request Callback Steps
