Home screen refresh, game lag, controller issues, restarting

Would somebody like to help? Like maybe Microsoft........??

 

Hey there Zaoci.

Seems that you're experiencing a wide variety of issues. Do you have any friends with an Xbox One console that you can test your controller on, or test their controller with your console? We just want to be able to narrow this down.

 

I was able to test my controller on my brother's Xbox One, and was able to play without any problems. I also tested his controller on my Xbox One, and the same connection issues appeared.

I have new issues that have come up recently. This time it has to deal with sound!

While playing FIFA 16, the commentators are gone. Just gone. Their volume is all the way up but they don't say anything.

While using Netflix, it seems like the foreground sound (all the dialogue and whatnot) is very muffled, and all the background noise is amplified.

I would really like a solution to this.

 

I did a complete factory reset of the console. Everything was fine for about a day, then the controller started to have the disconnecting issue again. I can only imagine it's a matter of time before the other issues start to crop up as well.

Maybe I should give the PS4 a shot.

 

Hi Zaoci. I'm having the exact same issues... My dashboard will refresh rapidly for a little bit, my controller will disconnect and sometimes even my wifi for a split second. I've talked to support several times with no resolution, I've performed the hard
restart, the council reset, tried multiple controllers. My controllers are up to date as is my council. It's been a very rough couple of months considering the heaping amount of money I have put into xbox hardware and games. If anyone finds a solution please
help us.

 

As much issues as he/she is having, maybe it's best to see if chat or phone support could help a bit more than the forums? I am sure it's needing some kind of repair since it sounds like an issue with the console, not anything that the end user can do to
troubleshoot this. At this point, it sounds best to just go on with the repair set up process than wait for an answer.

Zaoci lets try to keep the forums free of console wars thanks. I agree with Inudemon sending the console in for repairs seems like a good idea. And if you are still under warranty you can go to your local retailer and see about getting a replacement. Same
goes for you Finest Chunk if you tried all the troubleshooting steps then the same may apply to you as well.
