Home screen disappeared

Sorry to hear about the issue. What troubleshooting steps have you tried thus far? The first thing I recommend trying if your console is unresponsive is a

power cycle of your console. This can fix a large number of issues you may experience.

Give that a shot and let us know if it helps.

The closest I've got was to unsnap it to disappear from home screen.

Starting it always open Games n apps and a sidebar with Edge in it.

So in that position, not full screen - press xbox button to get to home screen.

Then with LS you can select the games and apps part, or the edge part or a unsnap part.

There you can get it out of sight at least.

I did that and it went to a screen saying it was clearing then the screen disappeared and it went back to the storage devices. Does this mean that it's done? And I've just put a game on let it load to the home screen. Exited and put a DVD in and it didn't
bring up the message. Thank you for your help. I'm presuming it's okay but I'll keep a check on it and write back if it pops up again.

If you have seen the new friends tab before, sometimes it does seem to disappear and revert to the old look. Try a home screen refresh by holding down LT, RT & Y at the same time and see if it comes back.

I not even sure that it's the preview program at all. My screen now loads up to a blank black screen after the my games and apps logo repeatedly pops up and disappears till it finally disappears completely to a blank black screen. It only shows the logo
and none of my games and it also showed me sign in.
