Home screen background?

So i know its trivial but like many things with the Xbone its just missing somethings to make the system more personal with customization. We had the option on the 360 but have lost it with this console. I don't know if anyone else feels the same but im
tired of looking at a plain black screen for my system while im navigating around. Just be nice to have it back again.

Dear Microsoft,

Your ads are a waste of space and only serve to frustrate. Put my games on the the home screen. I can't believe I have to say that. Figure it out.

Home Screen

I get this all the time, just hold LT+RT and press Y to force refresh the home screen, might take a few tries but it always sorts it out for me.

u can download a app or do it in settings.

1. In the "My color & background" settings page, select achievement art and/or screenshots

2. Scroll through the list of games in your library that have achievements and/or screenshots flin

3. Once you select a game, scroll through the game's achievements and/or screens hots and click on the achievement that features the artwork you want and then click "Set as background"

There is no way to change where the blocks are at the moment but hopefully in the future it will change.

He wasn't asking about how to change his background. He just wants to know if he can remove the menu items, which you can't. It is part of the UI and xbox doesn't offer any customization for it
