Home Gold on multiple Xbox's in Household

I am begging Microsoft to please extend the Home Gold to multiple Xbox within the same household. I have 3 Xbox's; mine and one for each of my young boys (9 and 5). At this point, I being a long time gamer have hundreds of games in my library so once I
got my Xbox One X, I gave my Xbox One S to my oldest and my original Xbox One to my youngest. My 9-year-old has his set as the Home account so he can continue to play all of my games. However, my youngest is forced to use my login to play any of my games or
to go online to play Roblox. This becomes a problem when I want to play on my console.

There is no way I can afford to buy another Gold account on top of buying digital copies of games twice so I'm asking when will Microsoft look into helping families by providing an additional home account or allowing all Xbox's on the same network to share
the Home Gold. I've been a long time supporter of Xbox and Microsoft and hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears.

    Thank you,

    Jason

    :)

    Multiple xbox's on home network

You can only run mulitple xboxes on one router, when the router specifically supports mulitple xboxes AND the router is setup properly for mulitple xboxes. Assigning fixed IP addresses will not help. Using Port forwarding or DMZ settings will not work.

IF..... your router supports mulitiple xboxes you need to set it up this way.

This procedure usually fixes most problems with Multiple xboxes on one router and xbox live.

    1. Save your router's existing configuration settings to a file on your PC.

    2. Upgrade the firmware in your router to the most recent firmware available, for your specific model, from the manufacturer's website or see if there is a "certified" version of firmware for your router here

    http://www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/xbox-live-router-firmware

    3. Perform a "Factory Reset" on the router. (Hold the reset button down for a count of 10 or more.... you will need to re-setup your wireless after doing this, you may also have to re-setup the Internet Side of your router's settings if your ISP requires
a custom setup; but don't change anything else)

    4. Verify that UPnP is enabled on the router. (It is located in the "Administration" section or "Advanced" section and is enabled by default on some routers)

    4. On all your xboxes, run the "Restore to Factory Defaults" function in the network settings area of the System Blade.

Do a complete power re-cycle of your network.

Power off your modem, your router (if you have one), your PCs, laptops, xboxes. Power off everything on your network.

Let the whole system set unpowered for 30 minutes or more.

Then power them back on in this order.

    1. Power on the modem (Wait a few minutes for the lights on the modem to settle down)

    2. power on the router (Wait a few minutes here too)

    3. Power on your PC (Check to see that you have internet connectivity)

    4. Power on your xbox (Hopefully all works well at this point)

    5. After your xbox is working properly and with your xbox still powered on, turn on the other devices on your network.

You should be good to go.

If it still does not work after this, your router does not support mulitple xboxes and you need a different router

or the "modem" that you have your router plugged into is not really a "modem".

Having a "Gateway" or a Modem/router" combination unit with your router behind it can mean you are experiencing

"double" NAT. Which can cause issues.

    Multiple xbox's on home network

I have two xbox's connected wirelessly and one hardwired to the same router and they can't seem to all be connected (or even two at a time) at the same time. There is also a laptop that connects wirelessly and one pc connected too. Is there a way to set
it up so that more than one xbox can be connected to xbox live at the same time?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate family sharing

Yes. But what about households with multiple XBOXes. There can only be one home XBOX in use with Gamepass or Gold, which means that, with multiple children, they are restricted to using only one of the XBOXes. What is the reasoning behind prohibiting multiple
    XBOXes as home XBOXes?

    Xbox and Microsoft account help

Xbox allows you to set up a home Xbox, and any accounts logged into that Xbox can use your gold subscription and owned games.

It's used to allow households to not worry about buying multiple subscriptions or games.

To access your home Xbox settings, select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox. Hope this helped.
