Home gold for multiple consoles at home on same network?

home gold works for multiple accounts in the same console. What about it being shared by the two consoles I have in my home. Is that not the same purpose as home gold?

Not true: the Home console provides Gold for the other profiles even when the main Gold profile is
not logged in. So Microsoft has made it easier for the simple case of one console with multiple users (siblings/ family/ roommates), but removed the discounted Family Gold for when multiple users are on multiple consoles.

New Concern for Home Gold

That's not how it works Hairy. The silver account is logged in to the Home Gold console, so they get Gold benefit & access to any games from that console. The gold account logs in on the non Home Gold console, but they get gold benefit no matter what system
they're logged onto. The gold account can't be signed into multiple Xbox Ones at the same time. It can be signed into an Xbox One & 360 at the same time.

Home gold will only work for the one console that is set as the Home console. It's not possible to share gold across multiple consoles.

First check if the consoles firmware is upto date. Also check if the controller firmware is upto date as well. If they are, then I'll suggest you try reinstalling MCC since it is the only game with the issue.

Everything in the house is wired minus phones and tablets. No devices have been added and no new microwave, either.

I'm curious as to if it's a problem between the series x and xbox one. When they are both on the problems are worse but if one of is off the problems happen less.

Is your network on Wi-Fi? Have you added any new wireless devices or things like a microwave in the recent past. All these problems could have many causes from the original Xbox beginning to show its age, to your router beginning to fail, is it just too many things on the Wi-Fi. Xbox wireless accessories work on the same frequencies with as many household Wi-Fi devices
