Home Console Switches

My question is why isn't there any customer service for home console switches? My brother has 3 Xbox's and was going to use his last extra switch so that his profile could be on his series x instead of Xbox one. Upon doing this it glitched out and now
his profile isn't even set to home on any of his consoles. We also can't get any more switches and it says he's all out of switches until the end of the year. This is ridiculous because it isn't even his fault, and when I got a hold of customer service on
the phone they gave me no insight or help on the situation other than "wait till the period of switches is over". Its not the end of the world but I'm just kind of dissatisfied with how little help I was given and no solution to our situation. If there is
anyone who can help I would really appreciate it but other than that I don't know what else to do.

Note Customer support cannot offer additional switches. If your console shows you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select
Helpwhen you see the message,
Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception.

Too many people abused the system when support could provide more changes.

you see the message, Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception.

Is it possible someone that had his home console switched back. This is a common occurrence. For example your cousin sharing with a friend and then all sudden sees he cant access a game they been laying so they go check home console. They see it is
switched so switch back.

you can switch your home console 5 times in one year after that you have to wait for the first switch to time out. Once it times out you can switch your home console again. You have to wait for each switch to time out.

Do not share your account information with friend to give them games for free by letting them set their console as your home console. It is a VERY bad idea.
