    Home button not working and I can't type


    Recently my 2 controllers' home buttons have stopped working, and as soon at this happened, I found that when I went to type something, I can't. We have recently gotten new wifi, so if I can't type, I can't get on Xbox Live and also can't use smartglass
    to type with. Please help ASAP.

    Home Button Not Working

    I have this same exact problem. I've turned it off and back on many times, but it hasn't fixed it. Have you or anyone else figured out how to fix this, because I'm getting tired of having to turn my Xbox off just to switch apps or being unable to access
    friend or party options.

    I had the same issue try a soft reset.

    Hi

    Please try and carry out a hard reset of the console to do this press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds once the console shuts down I would recommend you disconnect from the power outlet for 5 minutes.

    When you power the console back up hopefully should then be okay.

    Hi

    Can you try and carry out a full console restart by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds once the console has switched off I would personally also then remove the power cable from the wall outlet for a couple
    of minute then reconnect and switch everything back on and hopefully pressing the home button will bring up the guide.
