    Home button no longer working


    I am having a funny problem with my XB1 controller. My home button will no longer respond when I click it. I can't get back into the dashboard after I get through playing a game and now have to restart my entire Xbox to be able to switch games. I have checked
    the controller's firmware (up to date) and have restarted the console several times seemingly to no avail, and I have changed the batteries as well. Has anybody else experienced this problem and what can I do to correct it, because restarting the entire console
    just to play something else sure is annoying.

    I have this same exact problem. I've turned it off and back on many times, but it hasn't fixed it. Have you or anyone else figured out how to fix this, because I'm getting tired of having to turn my Xbox off just to switch apps or being unable to access
    friend or party options.

    I have this same exact problem. I've turned it off and back on many times, but it hasn't fixed it. Have you or anyone else figured out how to fix this, because I'm getting tired of having to turn my Xbox off just to switch apps or being unable to access

    Hi

    Can you try and carry out a full console restart by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds once the console has switched off I would personally also then remove the power cable from the wall outlet for a couple
    of minute then reconnect and switch everything back on and hopefully pressing the home button will bring up the guide.

    Try this

    1. Press and hold console power button till fully off.

    2. Press and keep held both bind and eject buttons.

    3. Press power button (keeping bind eject held) and wait for second power up chime.

    4. Select reset console from troubleshooting menu.

    5. Reset keeping all games and apps.
