    Home button is now guide!

I'm so tired of Microsoft changing stuff like this. It's been the home button for years and if you wanted the guide, you could double tap the home. This is retarded. It's too bad. I have over 100 digital games and now I'm thinking of going to Sony. I have
been defending microsoft since the DRM thing years ago, and after 3 xbox one's that had to be exchanged (and mine and my brothers current ones have faulty wifi receivers.) But now, I have nothing but disdane for thus company...

  2. Turn off home button guide

How do I turn off the home button guide? I just want to go home when I press the home button on my xbox one controller. the new menu just adds extra steps to get to the home screen. Where is the option to turn this off?

  3. Turn off home button guide

    Hey, Thebrianbryan!

We’re taking the most popular multitasking experiences gamers are using today and building them directly into the Guide on a new start page. The updated guide is instantly accessible when you press the Xbox button on a controller. From here you can get to
the home page on the dashboard, your games and apps, store, most recently run experiences and Pins. This is also where you will get to and manage your key multi-tasking scenarios.

At this time, there are no plans to implement a feature to turn this off and revert back to the old Home button. If you would like your voice heard, please check out our
Feedback site. There you can check to see if others have posted a suggestion similar to this and give it a vote. You can also post up your own suggestion, if you don't see this one after a search.

    Xbox guide/home button not working

I'm having a similar issue. At first they wouldn't connect to the xbox one. I was able to get them to connect via the sync buttons on the console and the controllers. Once on and working, everything seems fine until you press the guide button. That still
doesn't work. I tried updating the controllers, but it had no effect. The only thing out of the ordinary was that immediately before this started happening, I tried streaming to my laptop.

Could you clarify what doesn't work means? As in what is the expectation, and what were you doing at the time you noticed it doesn't work?

    Xbox guide/home button not working

I used my controllers mostly for pc and it worked fine before, but for some reason after I had to reinstall everything it stopped working. I tried on another pc but it still has the same problem.
