Home button does not work on controller, have already tried hard reset numerous times.

Hi, I bought my xb1 last Wednesday and have not been able to get the home button to work at all, I have tried the hard reset numerous times and unplugging the console, but still have not got it to work.

If I press the home button it switches the xb1 on, also holding it down for 10-15 seconds let's me turn it off, although both actions do seem to take along time compared to the xb360 I don't know it that's normal or not?

I don't think the controller is broken as it works fine, with the exception of the home button issue.

Like I said I've tried the hard reset numerous times.

Controller Sync button won't work on console

So I have an issues with my console. The sync button won't work anymore as I am trying to sync my new Elite controller. It only works via USB. I tried updating the system and controller, battery is fully charged, I did numerous hard resets, factory resets,
and power cycle. Nothing seems to work.

Stereo headset adapter issue

Brand new headset and stereo adapter will not work. Initially you could hear with headset but mic would not work. Now nothing. The mute button will not turn off. Tried hard reset on xbox one. Tried updating firmware. It says no update, controller up
to date. Tried taking batteries out of controller and reinstalling. Tried reinstalling stereo adapter and headset connection numerous times. Tried plugging headset directly into controller with no stereo adapter. Nothing still. Old turtle beach headset
plugged directly into controller works fine. This is a brand new headset and adapter right out of the box. Unbelievable.

You said that you have tried the hard reset but try it again doing it EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug
the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

I have the exact same problem and it won't let me hard reset, the only thing the home button works with is turning on the controller and nothing else.

Hi, try a hard reset (press the power button for 10 seconds, then start it again).

I assume you have already tried other controllers.

Have you tried doing a hard reset of the console, by holding down the power button for 10 seconds? Then try syncing the controllers using the little circular buttons on the console and the controller too see if they work then.
