    Holding Xbox button has changed


    Ever since the new update, holding down the Xbox button no longer brings up the Power off option. It now takes me to the "my games/apps" list. In order to power off my xbox using the control I now would have to go into settings (or physically power it
    off). Has anyone else experienced this or is there a fix?

    HDMI not connected

    My Xbox one is in low resolution and I try to change that by going to tv and oneguide.. audios & video.. but hdmi not connected. Have have done the cold reboot ( holding Xbox button for 10 seconds) and holding Xbox button and eject button until second beep.
    I have changed hdmi cords. I’m not sure what else I can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    disc tray constantly opening and closing / console shutting down and starting up on its own

    A good way to fix this issue is by holding down the buttons one at a time. First try holding down the Open/Close button. Then try holding down the Power button. This has been a common way to fix this problem.

    Holding Xbox button has changed

    You need to reboot hold power button for 8 seconds then power back up this started with 1503 in the preview the reboot fixed it.

    As the dashboard has changed over the years some of the button functions have changed. You can still hold the Xbox button to turn the console off or just a controller. I don't remember there being many button shortcuts though.
