Holding X + A goes to dashboard

My Xbox one goes to Dashboard when I hold X+A together. How do I fix this? Does anyone else have this problem.

This happens during games and is really annoying.

Whenever i load a game my xbox goes to a black screen then gos back to the dashboard

So 2 days ago now 3 i got a communication ban for 14 days and the next day after i couldnt load up any of my games cause it keeps booting me back to the dashboard and its doing it to my main account (the main account got a. comm ban) and backup account
aswell ive tried everthing holding the power button (soft reset) and it still wont work!? is it the comm ban or something else? i have an xbox 1 and a terabite .

Remove dashboard update

If you perform the above button combination, your console retains the latest dashboard, however it goes into a re-update state and won't connect to Live unti it is re-updated (either from Live or from media that has the update on it, like a USB flash drive).

Holding sync apparently does nothing now, or at least doesn't do the same thing as holding sync does not result in a console that needs an update.

Note that the button combination does not roll back to the previous dashboard version. If you have 16202 now, you'll still have 16202 afterward.

Have you tried going to settings in the guide and restarted the console to see if that resolves your issue.

You could try refreshing the dashboard. To do this, bring up the Guide, and then hold RT and press Y. This will refresh the dashboard.

Alternatively, try reinstalling the system update too. This is done by visiting the Storage Device screen and pressing 'LB RB X LB RB X' in succession.

Hi, To Fix This Make Sure to Power off for 10secs then wait til 3mins then power then if have external hard drive plug it in if dont. hold sync button till it goes to dashboard

Is there an xbox live outage? If not then id try a hard reset. Hold the x on the front of the console until it goes off (about 10 seconds)
