Holding power button while xbox is off

Nothing else happens by holding in the power button after the Xbox is off.

You basically do that when performing a
power cycle to clear out the system cache (which is useful for fully rebooting the Xbox whenever it starts to act weird).

Its always worth trying the power drain.

hold power button on front of console for 10 sec while console is on.

hold power button on from of console for 10 sec while console is off.

power console on and check for resolution.

Unplug it or hold the power button down for 10 sec. If that doesn't work hold down the controler sync button power and disc eject while off to reset

so this seems to work for the most part.

hold the power button on the console for 10 sec while the console is on (keep holding even when it turns off) and then hold the power button another 10 seconds while the console is off (after releasing from the first 10 sec hold). fixed issue for myself

means your screen does not support 120hz, if its a tv then most tv's don't.

while off press and hold the eject button and then the power button together and hold, should get you into the maintenance menu to adjust res

depends which xbox you have if all digital xbox one then hold the sync button then power button.
