Hogwarts forcefully turning my xbox off

So I recently got the Hogwarts Legacy game on the series x and just recently my game started to forcefully turn off my xbox every time i try loading up the game. Ive already checked my settings to not have my xbox turn off for any reason so i dont believe theres any problem with my xbox. When i first started playing the game it was fine but once i progressed into it, i noticed that certain points in the map that i would revisit, my xbox would turn off. I literally do not know what can cause this but im almost sure it isnt my xbox causing it because im able to play other games fine.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.

Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Hogwarts Legacy, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Solution 4: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hello PatrickKlonowski, There are 3 versions, one only for the Xbox One, another only for the new generation and another that is a deluxe that has two versions, for the old generation and the new one.

Now if you are talking about Hogwarts deluxe then no you didn't buy the wrong copy

.the Hogwarts isn't expected till April 4th for the xbox one

I checked my bank and there’s a transaction for $60 on 12/5/22 and hogwarts legacy was the only game I pre ordered/paid for at that time for that price but when I went to Xbox transaction there’s no payment for hogwarts legacy it’s like I never pre ordered/paid for it
