I love the Hitman games, but I stopped playing them after Hitman: Blood Money (Xbox 360).

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (Original Xbox) is my favorite in the series (I've played Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts (Original Xbox), and Hitman: Blood Money.

@Malacath I think it's actually just missions repackaged from Hitman Blood Money. I would love to replay them, but I think I'll survive.

And who knows, Xbox One may get that DLC down the road.

 

The missions are called the Sarejavo six. cant see how they could be related to blood money.

But the game will be great even without those six missions. Just that with the game being episodic and there being only a couple of missions each episode, the extra missions in the ps4 edition make a massive difference to me. Just wish these extra missions
were on xbox

 

It does not say six missions it says 6 contracts(hits) as we know a level usually has a few...

As much as I love hitman, I don't agree with the way they are releasing it. So I'll probably be skipping it entirely as I don't really want to support the episodic release of games. Telltale games is one thing, but a full blown game like hitman is different

If the Playstation 4 had an exclusive city that would have been a coup.

They don't. They have a contract for the Sarejevo Six so it's like getting the Monte Carlo in "Destiny".

Gave it a go at midnight against my better judgement... kept me up waaay later than usual on a 'school night'.

Good fun. Plays like Blood Money. Good fun, lots to do... many different ways to do it.

Love the pacing in this game. How you can not just sneak about but infiltrate and how exploration can reveal so many different ways to take down your target.

Been playing the ps4 version and the sarejavo six is just a contract in paris. I assume there will be 1 contract for every city. So xbox really isn't missing much especially as you can play user created contracts.

I'm with Denaz, episodic releases of AAA games is just something I don't want to encourage.

Trying to resist the intro pack because of this. Not outlaying $80 for a game I will be dripfed over the year.

Terrible business model apart from niche episodic games.

 

I want Hitman but I will not support this game. It's a terrible way to release a game. I hope it fails miserably.

Why would you say that.

All the content and future content may be purchased for standard game price.

There are no microtransactions in this game.

You would have been more comfortable with them giving you 3/4 of the game at full game price and letting you pay extra for costumes and equipment as part of a pre-order package and then slap another £20 - £30 for a season pass?

This model has benefits for the publisher but it also has the above benefits for the gamer.

On top of that the steady flow of content will encourage people to get the most out of their game while at the same time keeping things fresh and new.

I've got it.

It's fun.

Not sure why you're complaining about a great game where the Publisher isn't trying to get you to pay for it twice.

 

@Azrael, For me, its because i don't want to support this style of release. If every other game company can give us a full game, then there is no reason Hitman can't. I don't want to have to start a game, finish it, then wait months for the next portion
of the game to be released. By then I'd have forgotten where I'm up to, whats going on, and any plot that might be there. I play a lot of games, but I focus on one or two at a time, so I can play them through to the end so that I can follow the story the whole
way through. Its just a silly way to release games, and don't think we should support it.

Its nothing against the game, I love Hitman, its one of my treasured favorites, but I hate episodic releases and do not think they should be releasing games like this
