Hitman trilogy game pass issues

Though Hitman Trilogy is available in Xbox and PC platform. Hitman Trilogy doesn't support cross platform play. You have to either purchase them separately or subscribe to PC Game pass if you want it to play on PC.

The Hitman trilogy on Game Pass seems to sometimes have issues. There's a reddit about it here..no clue if anything in there is useful or not though:

I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. I see that you are having some issues installing the Hitman Trilogy on PC Game Pass. I am happy to help and hopefully suggest some steps to resolve this problem.

• Open the Xbox App
  
• Look for recently added on the main screen
  
  
  
  Then Click install and see if the game installs all three Hitman titles
  
• I attempted to install the games on multiple devices on my end and they installed the three titles
  
• Also On the search bar, type hitman and look for the same thumbnail

Please try the following suggestions below.

Solution 1: Reset Windows 10 store & Xbox Companion APP

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Go to Apps -> Apps & features.
   
3. On the right side, look for Microsoft Store/Xbox App and click it.
   
4. The advanced options link will appear. Click it
   
5. Next, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store/Xbox App to default settings.
   

Follow the same steps to reset the Xbox Companion App. After you have completed solution one, you can do the following.

Solution 2: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device.

Solution 3: Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and select Run as administrator.
   
2. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
   
3. get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
   
4. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
   
5. start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
   
6. Install the app on that page and select Yes when receiving the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
   
7. Restart your device and try to install the game again.

the Hitman Trilogy on Game Pass includes access to the full versions of Hitman 1, 2, and 3. You should not need to purchase these games separately to access them. If you are being asked to purchase them, it is possible that there is an issue with your Game Pass subscription or the way the games are installed on your Xbox.
