"Hitman" is still great and only getting better.

So it's a little bit of a weird way to introduce your game.

"We'll give you the first chapter... and keep adding locations and missions as the months go by".

But... it did allow them to offer the whole game at regular game price - all future expansions and content included.

So you start with a training mission which is a contract on a luxury yacht, move onto a final exam which is to assassinate a Double Agent on a Cuban Airbase and then launch into the first mission in Paris - a Double Assassination at a fashion show being
held at a Chateau in Paris.

Huge levels, various ways to complete the missions, numerous ways to assassinate your targets... and on top of that they throw in special missions that take place in these different areas for you to complete.

Since the launch they've added Sapienza in Italy and Marakesh in Morrocco. More countries are coming as the year goes on with Thailand, the USA and Japan to be added.

This game is great. The attention to detail is amazing. I'm playing through Sapienza now and it just continues to impress.

If you've missed this you're missing out on one of the best complete offerings on the XBox ONE, even if they are staggering content this not only allows the Developer and Publisher to fine tune their offerings but it can also keep the game experience fresh.

Excellent graphics throughout the whole environment, wherever you go.

Fantastic and realistic open world environments and open world approach.

Very good A.I. Sure I bet if you tried hard enough or played long enough you could find the A.I. doing something that seems a little dumb... but you'd have to try hard and go out of your way to do so. A.I. acts realistically. I was so impressed when I
was sneaking somewhere I shouldn't have been, was found by an armed guard... and instead of going "ZOMG!!! - It's AGENT 47 - KILL KILL KILL!!!" he said "Hey, this is a restricted area, please follow me..." and escorted me to the public area and because I complied...
I got away with it and it just looked like an innocent and believable misunderstanding.

So many ways to kill people. Purposeful planned execution to a split second opportunity suddenly presenting itself for those quick enough to take advantage of it.

Save any time. ANY time you want. Play for a good sit down session... play for 5 minutes. Save your game and come back to exactly where you were.

Finally - Most commendable - NO Micro-Transactions.

This is great. You'll feel Square Enix deserve your money after playing this.

Not ideal if you like to rush. It's not that type of game.

But if you appreciate a fantastic looking well designed intelligent game that allows you to approach your tasks from a number of different angles this is a Must Play on the XBox ONE.

The Episodic Content release scheme is getting about as bad as On-Disc DLC. Two words to Developers and Publishers on this,
stop it.

 

I'll wait until they sell it as a complete game so I do not have to wait around for more content. I'm sure it's good because I loved Absolution, but I don't want to support releases like this. Small little insignificant games from Telltale are one thing,
but supposedly "AAA" games taking this route is bad for my tastes.

 

^ Agree with both comments above, just no need for it with an AAA title. I wont support or buy it until its available as a full content title and may not even get round to it at all depending on what else is released, I have a few in the pipeline that will
take my time and attention. So if they have missed my boat by releasing episodically that's another lost sale....

Brilliant game and what a time to be gaming if you can afford to miss out on one of the best games the ONE has to offer.

I completed the first episode and quite liked it but didn't like episode 2, so haven't bought any new ones since.

I know you're a big fan of the "Witcher 3" and "Fallout 4" both of which are very good games so I'll presume it's one of those 2 if not both.

If you enjoy them you'd love the new "Hitman".

Az I loved Absolution and I'm sure if I ever get round to it I will enjoy it, would have bought it day one if it wasn't episodic. As it is I don't think it's been a huge success taking that route so could be a pick up when it's reduced.

 

I'm so keen on this game, but like others have said, I'd prefer the whole game so will wait until it's fully released and most likely for a sale too.

 

I've not very keen on digital purchases but they way this is being released, I don't mind it this way.

It's something you can get into, get distracted, come back to and get into again.

There's a huge pressure being put on consumers to buy digital because that makes Microsoft the most money.

Perhaps there's huge pressure being put on Publishers to Publish digital as well.

Regardless... great game and definately a "Must Play" whenever people get round to it.

 

For me,DLCs,microtransactions,episodic content,it's all the same.

If i want to play something,the way i like to play,i buy.

And i didn't see this episodic as a bad idea,just IO interactive and SquareEnix messed up their announcement and explainations.(already said that somewhere)

Also a season pass is more or less like episodic content.
