HITMAN 3 (Game Pass) keeps crashing

Based on the error code shown on the attached screenshot, my best guess would be for your to completely reinstall the game, by uninstalling it through the Apps list inside of the Windows 10/11 Settings app and then restarting your PC. After that, install the game again and check if the same error occurs. If it does, check if your other games have the same behavior as HITMAN's. If they all work fine, try to update your GPU drivers. If after that, you still get that error, you would need to contact the game's Support for further help, especially if you don't have a similar issue on any other games.

I have:

a) Updated my GPU drivers to the latest manufacturer provided

b) Reinstalled the game

c) Checked that this error doesn't occur in any other game

I believe its a problem with HiTMAN as pointed out by others on Reddit. Thanks for the assistance.

Hello Lucca, by description you can access locations of hitman games 1 and 2 within Hitman 3 and of course own the hitman 3 game to be able to access this content.

"The HITMAN 3 Access Pass system allows you to access HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 locations in HITMAN 3, essentially making it possible to play all locations in the World of Assassination trilogy from within HITMAN 3.

Purchasing or redeeming this Access Pass will grant access to the locations from 'HITMAN 1 - GOTY Edition' in HITMAN 3.

You must own HITMAN 3 to access this content."

I had this issue in the past with Hitman 3 when that first launched on Game Pass, but that was fixed by leaving the Insider version of the Game Pass app.

Now I'm not in the Insider app anymore, and Vampire Survivors is the only game I've had this issue with. And there are no errors that come with the crash, the game window just closes about 1 second after opening

You're welcome and that is a possibility.

Try to launch the game Hitman: world of assassinations from Game Pass and check if you have the Hitman 3 missions from there.
