Hitman 2 Legacy Pack - Why don't I have access?

I got the Gold Edition of Hitman 2, and I am unable to get access to the Legacy Pack, which are the remastered Hitman 1 levels. IOI listed the steps to take on their website on how to access the Legacy Pack, and even after assuring all of those were done
correctly, I still do not have access to the Legacy Pack. Can someone help me out here?

Hitman 2 Gold Edition DLC no longer downloadable after recent update

Hello! I'm sorry you are having this issue, on the official Hitman 2 FAQ they explain how to redeem this content and that not every suit is available to transfer from the first game to the second one.

These are the steps to redeem your Legacy DLC on Xbox One:

On Xbox One Digital:

Ensure that you have the HITMAN ‘base game’ installed and downloaded the latest game update for HITMAN, released on November 8th.

Launch HITMAN and follow the prompts in the H1 in-game store to redeem and download your Legacy Pack.

When the Legacy Pack has installed, it will be playable within HITMAN 2 only.

About some suits not appearing in your collection:

Unlocks Transfer aka “What about my suits?”

Items and progression will not be directly carried over from HITMAN into HITMAN 2. However, the majority of items can be unlocked through the HITMAN Legacy Pack. With regards to suits specifically, anyone who redeems or purchases the GOTY Legacy Pack
will have instant access to the 3 GOTY suits in HITMAN 2. Also, the Requiem Pack will be included in all Legacy Pack redemption or purchases.

What exactly is included in the HITMAN Legacy Pack?

The HITMAN Legacy Pack includes the following:

Remastered and enhanced versions of the HITMAN Season One locations – Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado and Hokkaido.

Escalation Contracts from HITMAN will be released over time and added to each Legacy Pack location at no additional cost.

The progression system, difficulty levels and gameplay mechanics will be shared between all HITMAN Season One locations and HITMAN 2 locations.

The HITMAN GOTY Legacy Pack includes everything above, plus the following:

Patient Zero campaign, including four missions.

Three GOTY suits – Raven, Clown and Cowboy.

Three GOTY Escalation Contracts.

In addition to this information I would like to recommend:

Giving your console a Reset

Double checking your game DLC, on your games and apps click manage Hitman 2

Reviewing your buying history and confirm that you own the content.

HITMAN 2 DLC Issues

I have this issue with the Xbox store, where products that I have purchased as part of a bundle simply don't show up when I am downloading them. Yesterday, I bought HITMAN 2 with the HITMAN Legacy Pack, and whenever I try to download it, the Bangkok and
Miami DLC doesn't work. Is it just me with this problem? If you have any fix for it I'd love to know.

 

Hi the Legacy pack should appear after a few days, Sometimes these bonus features or extras aren't actually released until a few days/weeks after the fact.

I researched this edition and Hitman 2 Gold Edition doesn't seem to be a pack that's included. It seems that you have to meet certain requirements and then you access the Legacy pack from inside Hitman 1.

Have you confirmed you meet the requirements to install this pack?

Let us know if you've tried those exact steps and what it shows within the game store inside of Hitman.

 

Honestly I think you're right. But I've seen PC players who already have access to their Legacy Packs. Why do I have to wait on mine?

 

Thank you for responding so quickly. I have Hitman 1 installed, I have all seven episodes purchased and installed. I have the most recent update, updated on 11/9/18. When I go to H1 in-game store to redeem and download the Legacy Pack, it immediately re-directs
me to the Xbox Store to "Legacy Pack", and it just says "Legacy Pack is currently not available."

 

Are both games digital downloads, if so were they both purchased on the same account ?

 

All of the Hitman 1 content is digital; Hitman 2 is disc format.

Ok I understand now, thank you for letting us know the situation. You definitely should be entitled to the Legacy Pack but I checked the Microsoft Store and it does say currently unavailable.

We'll continue to monitor this and try to figure out when it will be available on the Microsoft Store.

In the meantime I would suggest contacting the developers just to see if they have any information about when it will be available to other platforms other than PC.

If anyone is still having this issue: I had to uninstall Hitman 2 and then install the free Hitman 2 prologue. After doing that i was able to navigate to the store through Hitman and get the legacy pack.
