History repeating itself?

[/quote]I used to trade my games in whilst they held their value, this had to be done a couple of weeks after release, so quite often I would regret trading them in and would end up rebuying them (usually at a fraction of the price) . This enabled me to buy
new games weekly without losing much money.

 

Mario 64 x 3. Once for the system, once for the DS, once for the Wii.

I downloaded a version off the interweb back in the 00's but that doesnt count because it was free and ran like dog droppings

 

I think I only bought Mario 64 twice, but it could have been three times...

 

Hmm, let me dig into my archive...

• I owned The World is Not Enough for both N64 and PSone. Some cosmetic changes between the versions, but still a game based off the movie.
  
• Jet Set Radio Future, twice. First one came with my Xbox, traded it in. Second one, gave in to nostalgia and bought it in 2011, I think.
  
• 007 Nightfire and Everything or Nothing, twice.
  
• Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, thrice. Technically, I owned CoM and I own Re:CoM plus the HD version of it included in KH HD 1.5
  
• KH1, twice. Own the PS2 version and it's included in 1.5, so I'm counting that one.
  
• Metal Gear Solid 3, thrice. I had Subsistence, still own the copy included in The Essential Collection for PS2 and the HD Collection on 360.
  
• MGS2, twice.
• Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, twice. Owned it on PS3, own it on 360.
  

That's all I can recall at the moment.

 

I bought Halo 3 twice, but have had 4 in total.

The first time was when I got my 360, eventually lost my copy and re-bought a new one. Got another copy during christmas season it came out and another time on my birthday.

Probably the same with GTA4. I was addicted to it on the 360. Then one week my wife was going away for 5 days with her mom and I fully intended on gaming as much as possible while she was away. That very night I turned on my 360 and it said the disc was
unreadable. After attempting to repair it myself, support said I would have to send in my 360 for repairs. I was getting in some GTA4 time one way or another, so I went to target and decided to buy a PS3 instead of a temporary 360. Of course I bought GTA4
with the PS3 and played on there for months since the online community was still alive and kicking while the 360's community was on life support.

Later I also bought it on the PC when I saw a ridiculous deal, but I never ended up playing it and decided to sell the PC I built before I really got a chance to check that version out.

 

I've bought GTA San Andreas...atleast 5 times in my lifetime. I bought Dark Souls for all three platforms.

 

We have a lot of games more then ones

I think we have 2 discs of most Halo games except Halo 4 I think.

I never EVER sold a game.

 

I bought Dragon's Lair 6 times on 6 different formats.

Once for Commodore 64, Once for Sega CD, Once for PC CD-ROM,

Then I bought that 20'th anniversary DVD thing that came out some years back,

Once again for my home arcade machine (not Mame, but fully licensed by Chicago Gaming)

and once again for XBLArcade.

 

I bought a couple years ago Dead or Alive 2 for the platforms it was on, that being, DC + OX + PS2.
