History repeating itself?

All the 3D FF games for the PS1. My discs were ruined.

I bout Double Agent twice because my first copy got ruined by my Xbox.

Do HD collections count as buying twice? lol

I forced it off and it is now working again. That was strange and leaves me worried. I had two 360's die on me in the beggining of last generation. I am praying history does not repeat itslef.

The first Tomb Raider was released as a multiplatform title and it actually ran better in Sega Saturn. But then Sony "moneyhatted" the developers in order to make the sequel exclusive to Playstation.

 

fallout 3. i bought it at launch for ps3, then bought the game of the year edition on ps3, then bought the goty for 360...i also played it on pc, but it was not my copy. i've played most the assassins creed games on both systems, but i only actually bought
them all on ps3...ac2 was a double buy going from ac2 to the ezio trilogy. i also have several physical/digital doubles crossing and sitting on both consoles due to ps+ and gwg...bought a couple through the 360s ultimate sales, then got freebee copies on ps+.

 

The only game that I've bought twice was Saints Row only because some hero wrecked my disc. I smoked the money off them then went and bought it on sale.

 

I brought Tales of Vesperia twice. Once physically and once digitally. I traded in my physical copy like a fool. Its only second game I regret trading in. The first is Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style.

I brought Assassin's Creed 1 twice because the first time I was playing through it I wasn't in a relaxed environment so I thought that was why I didn't want to finish it. I brought a second copy for myself on 360 and turns out it it was just an all around
boring game that I will never be able to finish as long as I live.

I brought Dead Or Alive 4 a second time simply because someone was talking smack because I no longer had the game. Destroy Brad Wong? Please!!!

 

Wilko - thats funny to me because I bought GTA4 for PS3, 360 and PC!

I also bought allot of games on both PS3 and 360, I'm currently playing Mass Effect on the PS3 and bought Mass effect 2 PS3 yesterday. I have all the Last gen cods on 360 and PS3.

 

Probably call of duty 4.....I received it as my 1st game when it first came out. When waw came out I traded it in. I repurchased it a few months later. Traded it in when mw2 came out. Bought another a few months later. Last year I bought the digital
version so I would stop this non-sense. The only non cod games I have repurchased were Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands 1 and 2. I am considering re-purchasing far cry 3.......

Wait, wait, wait. MVP Baseball: 2005 on PS2. I have purchased that game a few times. I even bought a back up copy at one point. It is my favorite baseball game ever. Everything that came out after that was unplayable to me. I even took the time to
update the rosters manually on that game. Seriously loved that game.

 

Minecraft I bought about 10 times.I tried to convince friends on XBL how good it was and they could not be convinced due to the low res screenshots.Theyre all believers now.ha ha pwnd by 4J

 

Final Fantasy 3/6:

Had the SNES Cart back in the day. Complete with glitch. Sold it, replaced it a few years ago, 2nd pressing so no glitch. Then I bought FF6 Advance when it was released as a GBA cart. Waiting for a HD/3D remake, or the next reissue.

Bionic Commando: Had the NES cart, picked up the port as a GBA cart, bought Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Castlevania SoTN: PS1, replaced when stolen, sold 2nd time, bought on XBLA.

Every other duplicate purchase has been because of theft.

 

Mass Effect would be my most bought game.

First copy was bought with my 360.

Second copy was bought when the first developed a crack at the centre.

Third version I got was the Classics Edition so I could have a hard copy of Bring Down the Sky.

Number four was the PC version of the game.

The fifth copy I bought from Games on Demand

I got the Limited Edition as the sixth copy.

Very last would technically be a copy of the game on Origin, but since that was gain by using the key from the PC version bought previously, I don't think it really counts.

 

I have received The Simpsons Game three times for three different platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and my Xbox 360.

Also, GTA IV would be my most purchased game. The Episodes of Liberty City disc I had twice (one was confiscated, another was stolen). The base game I had three times all for Xbox. (Left somewhere, stolen).

Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal I had twice. First copy was scratched, second copy was lost.

 

2. Bought MW2 for 360 and PS3.

 

Super Mario Bros. It seems like everytime I buy a bundle of old school NES games, a SMB copy comes included.... be it a stand-alone version, or the Duck Hunt/SMB version. I probably own about 7 copies of that game.

 

There are various games that I posess in duplicate form.

I have two copies of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the PS2, one is still in its wrapper.

Than theres Assassins Creed 2 that I first bought for my PS3 than later picked it up for a steal on the X360 because I really liked the game and later on received a digital copy from Games with Gold.

I also recently bought a disc copy of Red Dead Redemption and a digital copy of GTA4 Complete Edition for my PS3 while I already own both on the 360.

Will probably get GTA5 on the PS3 when I can pick it up dirt cheap.
