    I just bought a Hisense U7H 65”, specifically for 4KUHD @ 120hz and cannot get it working on my Xbox series x. Says it is only allowing 120hz @ 1440 resolution. Or 4KUHD @ 60 fps. I have an hdmi cable that can support 4k120hz, it plugged into an hdmi 2.1 port and enhanced settings enabled. Can you please confirm if it is my settings or my tv that is the problem?

    I just wanted to let everyone know my problem was that I have a Xbox one x, not a series x and thus has a 2.0 hdmi output.

    Is the XBox plugged directly into the TV itself? Just checking it's not plugged into something like a sound bar or capture card or some such as those would stop 120Hz

    Is the TV set to Game Mode? It needs to be in that for 120Hz

    Sorry if these seem like stupid questions but just wanting to make sure
    It is connected directly from the Xbox to the arc 2.1 hdmi port on the tv with the Xbox hdmi cable currently. I swapped this cable with another 4k@120k supported hdmi cord thinking it may be the cord but that wasn’t the case.

    I can also confirm that picture mode on the tv is set to game.

    By my research it cannot display 120hz properly. The manual deliberately avoids talking about it, and the literature keeps talking about how the panel is 120hz. This does not mean the electronics driving the display can keep up.

    according to this review it cuts the resolution in half at 120hz.

    No luck, did your changes and same outcome. It won’t let me set both 4K and 120hz. It just reverts the other to a lower setting.

    I appreciate the research you did. I’m really frustrated at this point, this being the second tv that I’ve gotten that has all the requirements to run 4k@120hz that is under 1k$ and won’t do it. Do you know what tvs will work with the Xbox one x and yield these results? Clearly it’s something in the fine print I am missing.
