Hilarious WindowsApps Forbidden Access

Hello guys,

I have purely no ideea about how this should be fixed, I downloaded the Forza Horizon 4 on my laptop(usualy play it from the pc), and I tryed to search down the google with possible fixes for this thing. Microsoft Store tells me that the game needs to be installed even though it downloaded 79GB for Forza and completed and instantaneously shown me that the game is not installed(after it completed the 79 gb of download), and when I manually wanted to go and look into the folder microsoft created in my E partition, it wont let me.

I should specify that I changed the trustmaster or smth, and changed the holder to administrator, which is me, but still won't let me. Can I know now why? This is wrong and seems broken from microsoft side, and I am sorry to say that, I mean it's my game, I want to access the folder where my games are, why would't I have access? This is not happening to steam, ubisoft, or any other game company. If any of you guys know any type of fix or why it downloaded 79Gb and it won't even let me delete it, like ?!?!?!?. I'm blown away from what it's happening, and I don't know what kind of services does microsoft serve to it's clients.

the folder in encrypted as that is microsoft way of DRM. you took ownership of the folder and broke encryption therefore you cannot use the game. don't forget, no game is your game, you own a licence to play the game thats it.

you cannot move the game to another windows install either, it would need to be downloaded for each machine you want it on, if you ever re inatall windows you would also need to redownload any windows store/xbox app games.

There isn't a fix for this sadly. Microsoft heavily encrypts the installation folder for games on the Microsoft store and I haven't found anyone who successfully pried it open.

However, Sometimes when a download isn't completed, you might find the file here; windows > serviceprofiles > networkservice > appdata > local>microsoft > windows > deliveryoptimisation > cache > it should lead you to a folder, the size of which exactly matches the amount of storage you are missing.

The 403 Forbidden error is a status code which means that accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason. It could also mean that the page or website you're trying to access is no longer available.
You may check the internet connection on your computer to make sure that this is not an internet connection issue. If the network connection is fine check if your account is registered as under 18+
