Hijacking my account

(Mod Removed-Personal Information) is using my Microsoft game account with an Xbox. It is not me! Please block this person from using my account and secure my account immediately

Whew... I'm glad you posted that @ArmoredZambo. I was worried that someone hijacked my account.

 

im the only guy in the xbox board right now, so i made a thread to talk to myself

oh shit. i got you and JDemon confused once. i asked him if he was the old timer on the boards and he got SO PISSED.

not that long... i think my first account has your account beat. i took a hiatus from the forums and couldnt remember my password. ign wouldnt let me use my acount. even thought the only two users with "isturbo" in their username are me and my previous account. wow, like, i wasnt me and reallyneeded to hijack my account. because i would. will. i am doing it now.

 

Hi, only you can do that. Log in on account.microsoft.com and select security, and from there you can change your password. It would also be a good idea to remove his device as a trusted device, this will remove all devices as a trusted device, but you
can log in on them again to make them a trusted device. You can remove trusted devices in the enhanced security settings.

The previously posted information is totally correct as well.

Those are great ideas to try as well, but if you want a little more info on what to do in that situation try following the steps here on “I
think my account has been hacked”

Give those steps a try and let us know how that helped with the issue.

I have already done this. I want you to ping [mod removed - do not name and shame on the forums] and block that account from Xbox and every other means of accessing my account.

 

You can report players from your console and Enforcement will receive that report and act on it.

Do not "name and shame" players on the forums; we cannot take action against them (we are not Enforcement) and so calling them out is just hearsay and against the forum rules.
