    Microsoft has made a constant internet connection mandatory for customers to play games and save their progress, but they can't provide a constant server stability. The amount of issues the GFWL service is experiencing lately is more than dissatisfactory.
    Here is my advice: undo your changes, shut down the more than useless GFWL and let customers play their purchased games freely. Do you really think it could stop illegal copies? Ridiculous. GFWL is only more of a reason for those who either don't want to or
    can't purchase your often ridiculously overprised games to illegaly copy them. Furthermore, paying customers like me are aggravated by the lack of professionality.

    It is highly unbelievable that in 2018 Microsoft can not assist me to reset a passcode for my Xbox 360E. I am told that there’s nothing that can be done, seriously? Now I must throw away my console because of forgotten passcode. This is sad indeed

    ok, first go to and REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT from PROFILE, then after that UNPLUG POWER to CONSOLE and ROUTER for 2 min, then plug ROUTER in and wait 2 more mins, now plug POWER to CONSOLE in , turn on and now try to enter WiFi in and now download account,
    when you put in email and password for account, make sure to put a check into box that says REMEMBER SIGN IN INFO.

    Do you have the settings on the console set up to require a password for every log in? If not this can be adjusted by looking through your settings. Also is the console set as your home Xbox?

    Sorry to hear you are running into this problem. If you paid for your Xbox Live Gold subscription through the console then the subscription may have been left to auto renew every month or however often you are being billed. If you are seeing multiple transactions
    a month then we might have a problem. Are all the transactions for the same amount?

    If you are able to log into your old account I would advise that you take a look at the accounts

    Order History
    to see what is being purchased. If you do not see any transactions coming out of your account then I would advise that you request a callback from
    Xbox Support so that they can take a look at the transactions.

    If somebody else does have access to your financial information then these transactions could be fraudulent and it would be best to reach out to your bank for assistance.

    Filing complaints and blocking them is all you can do unfortunately. That is the only way to have the enforcement team investigate them.
