    As a loyal Xbox consumer, I have noticed a recent downfall in the system in the past few years. Now does that apply to me? No it doesn't, but there is one problem that really is so simple yet has not been done yet. Higher YouTube resolutions. This is something
    that has been done by PlayStation since launch. They used this in the system setting if I'm correct, (correct me if I'm wrong) they let the consumer change the gen resolution through the console settings, and that isn't not an option so on Xbox one. I have
    170 mb/s upload and download 250mb/s, so that couldn't be the problem. Higher YouTube resolutions, so simple but makes a huge difference in the quality of Xbox One. Thank you.

    YouTube App having picture quality issues

    I've noticed if I watch a lot of YouTube videos that my quality of the videos start to go down in resolution and the one day the best it could get was in the 500-700 instead of my 1920 resolution. It's not my internet because I have fast internet and if
    you clear the cache in the Xbox YouTube app it will start using high quality resolution again. So must be a memory problem or cache issue.

    Also it would be great in a future update to get 4k video on my Xbox one S. And to get 60 fps videos.

    Ya Youtube has a long standing strangeness with Xbox. For a while they did not update to allow higher resolution on the xbox, Then it was the Youtube crash thing.

    This is a Google issue, there are limitations to both the YouTube and YouTube TV apps including resolution caps on some content.

    Thanks, but I actually meant to download it so I can watch it at a higher resolution and not streamit. I know you can watch it on youtube but nothing beat it watching it HD on big tvs

    The difference between Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions are usually, resolution is better, Graphics are smoother, frame rate is higher, and more stuff in the game is better. You can find more about the differences on youtube.
