    Higher ping only on Xbox one - Low ping on every other device


    I have an NBN connection, currently experiencing 5-10ms ping on all major speed test sites.

    On my xbox One X, over the last few weeks i have been experiencing between 118-170ms. It was previously about 20ms whenever I tested it. My down/up speeds are identical on the xbox compared to other devices.

    I have the same result if I use either a wireless or wired connection.

    My NAT type is Open. I have tried all troubleshooting available from Microsoft, plus numerous other guides from community forums. Nothing has worked. I have also tested my modem/router, no apparent issues.

    Anyone familiar with this issue or know a solution?

    i had a issue on my xbox . i set different priority settings and set the xbox to highest . for bandwidth allocation.

    youre not the only one everyone has been experiencing this isse with higher than normal ping, its the xbox live servers not your internet

    Yes, im experiencing poor pings in game too, ive tried multiple titles and they're all the same.

    I followed the official step by step guide on the support page for "performance issues while playing a game online".

    Ive also tried adjusting ports, DNS, disabling firewall in the router/modem.

    Part from the Xbox network diagnostic test, do you also experiencing similar problems when playing multiplayer, or online games, on your Xbox?

    I have tried all troubleshooting available from Microsoft, plus numerous other guides from community forums. Nothing has worked.

    Could you detailing out all of the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far, to avoid suggestions that may only echo back.

    So what you're suggesting is Microsoft have closed a nearby xbox live server?
