High sales tax.

According to receipts that I have, I have not always paid taxes because I live in a state that doesn't have a brick and mortar store.

I have only recently started to pay sales tax since the new store layout. If tax was being paid properly, I should be paying 4.225% tax as that is my state tax. I live in Missouri. My friend lives in Tennessee and he pays sales tax based on his state which
is ~10%

I shouldn't be paying 20%.

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. You have always been paying taxes on your purchase, now it has just been made more visible when you make the purchase, and not just in your order history. I don't know where in the world you are from, but her in my
country we pay 25% on all purchases. Typically tax rates are calculated based on type of goods and where you live.

The tax is entirely dependent on your State/Countries Sales Tax and gifts have no added taxes aside from your usual sales tax. You can google your locations sales tax and calculate for yourself

here or go in like you're purchasing the game on your system and see how much it'll cost since it shows how much it'll cost with taxes.

Hi there, Spartan7P49. If you are seeing "plus tax" that just means that MSFt recognizes that your region/area has a sales tax. Even if sales tax were applied, it wouldn't matter. For me, sales tax is about 9%. But 9% of $0 is $0, right?
