    High pitched noise coming from Console


    To start I am a bit frustrated,

    I bought a new XB ONE console in February, and when it came in, everything was working until, my console was bricked because of an update. Sent my original XB ONE in and got a replacement, console again was running fine for about 6 months. Abount late June
    - Early July, I start getting a high pitch noise (sounds similar to how the old dial up modems sounded.) at first thought it was a glitch, I restarted the box, and did not hear the sound for a week, and then it came back and it also started to freeze up performance
    on the console. sent it into get this console repaired. just got my console back today with a letter stating that the console team tested it "extensively" and found no issues. I am going to record the sound that will be coming back again inevitably. But the
    console throws up no error codes when the degraded gameplay, as well as the noise come up. I found this link to a youtube video for a console doing literally the same thing. but in the comments, there was no reason stated for the problem. Any thoughts?

    "Silent Xbox one" weird noises

    It's a high pitched buzzing / rattling noise coming from inside the console

    (No disc inside)

    Xbox One making strange high pitched noises

    I have an Xbox One that is making strange high pitched (beeping sort of, sounds sort of like a malfunctioning fire alarm) noises during an update. I haven't updated nor used the console in a while... I have heard the "high pitched whirring" noises coming
    from my Xbox but this sounds different. Is it just my Xbox updating or do I have an issue with it?

    Clicking noise?

    I have my Xbox One on Standby but I don't hear the clicking noise. I can only hear a high pitched fan noise coming form the power brick.

    High Pitched Noise coming from XBox One

    Mine does it as well. Strangely though it's less frequent than it used to be, but it's the fan. Likely the bearing. It's a widespread problem that I think MS should publicly address. It's not affecting my system either but it is annoying. I'd do a warranty
    replacement but I don't want a dinged up refurb that will probably have the same issue.
