    I cannot connect to Xbox Live on my Xbox One S 500GB model. All of my other devices connect to the network just fine, apart from my Xbox. Whenever I do a network test, it says that everything is fine, however, when I do a multiplayer connection test, it
    says that I have a high 'packet loss' of 51% which is interrupting my online connection. It says that I must reset my router, and I have followed all of the steps in doing so, but none of them do the trick. Can anyone help? It is not only my Xbox Live, but
    in games such as Fortnite:Battle Royale, my multiplayer gaming is extremely laggy. This only began a couple of days ago, as I've had the Xbox for about 2 months and all has been well before now. My brother also has an Xbox One which is working perfectly well,
    however mine isn't. Please help :/

    I have 100% packet loss not sure why or how, but Ive tried all the “solutions” to fix the 100% packet loss but nothing has worked. What should i do?

    Thanks for that info. Please see our Multiplayer Connection troubleshooting guide as it includes steps for issues pertaining to packet loss
    under "You have high packet loss". While your packet loss is not currently high, any packet loss can contribute to any network issues you're experiencing.

    Does internet speed affect how you play?

    Download and Upload speed do less than you think. You barley require a decent up/down to play. The biggest components are PING and Packet Loss. Packet Loss causes rubberbanding in games and PING is the latency of your connection to theirs. High PING means
    a High Packet Loss (or Jitter leads to Packet Loss too) and what is known as Lag. I have a 20Mb/s download and as long as you and me have the same PING, your 1.6Mb/s download is no different for gaming.

    Xbox multiplayer problem

    Could be your internet as a whole. Maybe packet loss with noise in the line. Best thing to do is to speed test. It will list your packet loss. Plus high jitter or a high ping will also mean there is an issue with noise in the line. Might worth a look.
