    I am struggling with latency a couple of weeks now. It seems like I have 334 ms latency, but saw on the internet that it needs to be around 150ms. I also heard that the servers are in Seattle or something like that. I live in the Netherlands, so what can
    i do to lower my latency to around 150ms?

    Downloadspeed: 13,15 Mbps

    Uploadspeed: 18,37 Mbps

    Packetloss: 0%

    MTU: 1480

    Latency: 334ms at the moment. highest latency was 515ms

    I have a wireless connection and thats 100%

    I hope to get a reaction quick, so I can play again.

    I m experience a very high latency values and packet loss in Xbox Live.

    after discuss with WOT support team they told me to contact my internet provider.

    so here is the data

    Details about my connection:

    fibrer 130mb/s dn | 12mb/s up

    163 ms latency (tested)

    linksys AC1200 Xbox wired.

    PingPlotter software.

    We have thoroughly examined the PingPlotter file you've sent to us, and our diagnostics indicate that you are experiencing packet loss and high latency that will cause your reported issue.

    You can see this in the "162.213.60.77" file where almost all hops after the 13th have close to 90% packet loss. The latency during this time also jumps up in the 500ms+ range.

    In file "eu5-slave-101.fe.core.pw", you can see there the packet loss happens 100% every hop. There is also a fair amount of latency.

    In file "us4-slave-89.fe.core.pw", you can see there the packet loss happens at almost every hop. There is also a fair amount of latency.

    To prevent further connection problems, we recommend you to contact your Internet Service Provider (Customer Service is the appropriate department in most cases) by any comfortable means of communication and ask them to inform you of any current technical
    problems that may affect your connection.

    Your Ping Plotter file may be used as proof of your case, and we recommend you to send this file to your ISP .

    The hops that are showing 100% packet loss are configured to not reply to ICMP requests

    And the vast majority of your latency is within Telia's network- who are contracted to peer by the devs.

    Not aimed at you BTW, whilst VM do have issues in some areas, it takes me to the fair that "technical" support from the people who own the infrastructure the game servers sit on is so poor.

    You are relatively fortunate in that your VM end looks fine- do you have issues with other sites/servers (in which case we can dig a bit deeper for you) or just these ones?

    my question is , where is the problem and who can solve it.

    i m the end client paying and getting not so good service.

    Please post up the make and model of your router, along with the make and model of your modem as well (if this is not a single device).

    Does your console communicate with your wireless router directly over the air? Or is it that you connect an extender (e.g Homeplugs) in between your wireless router and your console?

    I would recommend that you connect your console with an Ethernet cable instead. Run the network diagnostic test and have us know the outcome.

    Hello yes some days it is fine in games and some days its unplayable but my brothers is fine and were on the same network, we have tried many networks and still the same problem. it is a relatively old xbox too.
    how old are we talking? and you've updated it to the current version of the dash?
