High Latency on Xbox One. Need a fix.

People, i know i'm not the only person to have this issue and it's getting on my nerves now.

My Xbox One has for some reason chosen to have a latency of a minimum of 154ms, but i've seen it as high as 201ms.

I understand from others that it's because of the distance between where i am in the UK and the servers they have in Seattle.

My last detailed network statistics are:

download 7.32

upload 0.48

packet loss 0%

MTU 140

Latency 175ms

Nat Open

Detailed NAT information Your network is behind a UPnP port restriction NAT

Status cos 0x40000000000

Someone please tell me how to drop my latency, I've found now help so far.

Horrible Latency Problems

My Xbox One has a wireless connection to my internet router and i seem to be having lots of problems with my latency. I normally get 15Mbps download speed and around 1Mbps upload speed but then my latency is rocketing up to 200 or even higher. Is there any
way i can fix the high latency or not.

xbox one with component cables?

Ouch, the HD Fury is a little steep. I'm looking for a audio split to decrease the latency between Rocksmith 2014 and my TV. I was able to route the audio to a wedge using component cables on my 360 which completely fixed my latency issue. I'm thinking I need to do something similar with my Xbox one but since it only has an HDMI output I need a converter. Anything out there that is still high quality but not $160?

The distance is probably you're primary issue. If you're initial ping is to a server half way around the world, that's going to take time. You're speeds are also pretty low and your NAT restriction is a red flag as well. Most of that is managed by your
networking hardware. I'd double check the kind of router you have (to optimize your set up you want to make sure you're not using a gateway and using a separate modem and router) and make sure there are no known issues, and if you have multiple consoles,
that it does in fact support multiple consoles while maintaining an open NAT. Check the Networking Hardware Information forums here:

If you're still having trouble with it after that, trying using the chat support option or calling them and asking to talk to a Networking Specialist.

I mean it's very irregular to that issue with the UPnp it's normally moaning about being behind a cone NAT. I'm really wondering if there is a way to get connected to a better server that isn't so far away. I live in a village in the UK so my speed has
never been good but it works fine. It's purely the Latency that is ruining my connections.

I will talk to support today and see what they say.

Wired connection on xbox 1 high latency in 90's. new modem DLspeeds 500mb. When playin on cloud on a mac same wired connection latency is 15-20. Xbox one is specifically were the latency is occurring. need help.

Now my ping is spiking to 200 latency on xbox one plus xbox doesnt accept manual dns server. Im starting to think these issues are not going to get fixed.
