High latency on xbox live.

Hi guys. When i run a multiplayer connection test my latency is over 210 ms.

im using wired connection and my stats are 49.78 mbps and 15.54 Mbps upload

im behind a cone nat, tried to activate ipv6, upnp, post forwarding several ports such as 53,80,88,500,3074,3075,3076,4500,3544

my internet box is siligence np-00.

btw by running bandwithplace.com speed test on xbox one on us servers i Ping 85-110.

How to fix That latency? 217ms for 50mbps/15 mbps isnt fair.

High Latency on xbox one

i get 76mb download and nearly 20 upload. When Xbox did an update about three days ago my latency when through the roof to 250. its a joke and since then when i play multiplayer its completely lagging. Why is this? is it a case of discrimination against
non Americans, because all the servers seem to be other there and we are paying just as much for the service in the UK where i am and the rest of Europe but yet we seem to always have issues. If Microsoft don't sort this out people will start to do law suits
against the company as we are paying for a product what barely works. they get billions of pounds each year and we should expect a minimum standard of service. Im not happy with this at all and it needs sorting otherwise il be selling all my Xbox equipment
and head over to PlayStation.This connection is taking me back to my Atari gaming...sort it out Xbox else youl be losing loyal customers.....

 

High Latency on xbox one

I suggest that you do a hardware reset of your sagemcom 4320. Press and hold the REG button for at least 15 seconds. This will restore your gateway back to factory configuration/settings.

Note! Before you restore your gateway to factory settings, if you have to use a username and password, to authenticate connectivity to your ISP and to the Internet-at-large, you have to know the username and password for this process.

Power your gateway off for a couple of minutes and then power it back on again.

Reconfigure wireless settings, such as your wireless network name (SSID), security method (WPA2-PSK with AES encryption), and set a passphrase/password for your wireless network. Also make sure UPnP is turned on.

I would also suggest that you check all the wiring, from and to, your gateway.

The latency shown on the network connection tab is not an accurate reading and does not resemble in game latency. The latency is the Xbox pinging the Xbox servers in Washington and not the nearest server.

If however you experience a lot of lag and rubberbanding in game I suggest trying a different cable to connect your Xbox to the interner or resetting all your network devices. As your NAT is open everything should be fine

 

My NAT is open in home but in CoD advanced warfare it is always set to moderate, forgot to mention That.

Im using static IP with several Devices connecting to the same external ip. I changed provider aswell few days ago. With my old connection my NAT was always open in cod. Any clue to get open in the game?

 

Honestly I can't help you with COD, I'm having the same issue. Static IP which is port forwarded on my router and DMZ on my gateway. I believe there is a hidden port maybe for COD which I haven't been able to find on the internet.

But Moderate in COD doesn't affect the game that much, since it's already open on the console itself

Forward UDP port 3076 and the NAT in COD should be open.
