High Latency Issues Xbox one S

Hey Guys,

new to gaming but know a little bit. In Perth, Western Australia with the issue.

When i speed test my mac computer, acer laptop and iphone. I get relatively similar results.

40-50mbps download

9-15mbps upload

12-20ms ping.

when i test my xbox (same network connection) -

40-50 mbps download, 1-9 mbps upload and 280ms ping (average - fluctuates between 265- 280ms)

it is very noticeable in game and am wondering if i am missing something or if maybe my xbox is faulty?

Using iinet, unlimited NBN bundle (the best bundle they offer),

Have an Arris cm8200 modem ( IPv4 enabled only, iinet does not offer 6).

Wired connection on xbox 1 high latency in 90's. new modem DLspeeds 500mb. When playin on cloud on a mac same wired connection latency is 15-20. Xbox one is specifically were the latency is occurring. need help.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with latency and network connection.

Try this article:

"I am experiencing slow performance when playing Xbox One games on Xbox Live."

If the issue persists,
I recommend to
create a static IP for the console,
and port forwarding on the network
configuration settings for a better connection.

Yeah same thing here on my Xbox One's network statistics it says the latency is 289 ms, even though it's only a meter away from the modem

I have this issue also. I have a 150/25mb/s connection and I still get bad latency in games like advanced warfare. When I run a speedtest to Seattle Washington I get a 70 ping but my Xbox one records a 94+ ping. I play hardwired to an optimal connection
and three bar every single match. I have what is virtually a perfect network setup and still lag on this "next gen" console. Your connection to this console is like playing Russian Roulette and it is out of your control. Badly implemented server (s), if
there are more than one cloud server, and bad coding are at fault.
