Discus and support High Latency and cannot find a fix... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My ISP is Optimum Online...     High Latency and cannot find a fix...


    My ISP is Optimum Online... I have perfect service, but when it comes to the XB1 I get high latency 84ms every time I connect. I have done many troubleshooting steps and tried setting up my ports for xbox live, disable DMZ, disabled UPnP...plus I am hardlined
    into a Netgear WNDR3400, and **** Modem...model TM822G.

    I am also getting help from my ISP and Xbox live representative... But not having any luck fixing this issue! This latency has been like this since I have had my XB1 ...day one edition!

    I need some other help please and thanks

    and my specs are

    59 Mbps Down

    29Mbps Up

    0% Packet loss

    1480 MTU

    84 ms Latency

    EVERYTIME I connect

    Horrible Latency Problems

    My Xbox One has a wireless connection to my internet router and i seem to be having lots of problems with my latency. I normally get 15Mbps download speed and around 1Mbps upload speed but then my latency is rocketing up to 200 or even higher. Is there any
    way i can fix the high latency or not.

    How to fix high latency!

    hey everyone, so I recently switched over to satellite internet due to where I live in the country side. I have over 28.98 mbs download speed, 1492 MTU, 0% packet loss, but my latency is over 680 sometimes it's in the 700's. Any idea how I can fix this problem?

    If You already connected Your Xbox One by wired to router, then You done all on Your side.

    But where You got this number? In Xbox One settings in network test? If so keep in mind, that this not mean, that You have same latency for games. For example my latency in this test 215 ms, but my real latency for Titanfall servers 105 ms.

    If ask why, it's because test servers and game servers are not at the same data center, at least not always. So what exact problem You have, You have high latency in games, that lead to some lags?

    If you can play online ok without any lag then don't worry about it I've heard you can get high readings testing the Xbox servers

    That's the problem, i can't play online properly as half the time my bullet delay will correspond to 800-900ms at times (I've counted). Just weird considering its the only device on my network that exhibits these slow speeds

    The test on the xbox one is not very accurate,especially the further from the U.S. you live so I wouldn't put to much faith in it to be honest.

    I'd use 2 or 3 of the different speed tests available online to get a better idea of your actual broadband stats.
