High download speeds but downloads are slow

I have an xbox one s and im using an ethernet cable, i pay for 1gig internet and when i do a speed test using the xbox it says i have 600+mbps but when im downloading/updating a game it says its 1mbps and under, ive tried resetting my router and
doing a factory reset and cleared my mac address and i have no apps or games running.. and nothings worked how can i fix this?

Have you tried changing your DNS settings to see what different download speeds you can achieve? I also have this issue sometimes. I pay for 1GB of speed and hardly see that cap myself. You could also try using a different speed ethernet cable if you want
to stay hardwired. Lastly, have you tried disconnecting your ethernet cord and connecting wirelessly to see the speed?

You gotta remember due to the worldwide situation more people.then ever are online

You can try reseting your router amd hardreset.your xbox

Purtroppo per via del Covid 19 i server sono pieni. Microsoft sta avendo problemi a gestire tutti i servizi, anche a me fa così, dirti riavvia o guarda dentro al modem non serve a niente. Devi solo pazientare.
