High CPU usage and slow download for Flight Simulator 2020 downloader

if you have poor internet you are going to have a rough time, the game requires at least 25Mbps connection for a descent run, 50Mbps is the ideal.

Install the newest ethernet driver (at me Intel Ethernet Driver).

Here there are a few instructions from the devs that helped me. I don't like that it asked to turn off microsofts own antivirus... but it did work for me. Note: i needed both the command prompt and the turning off antivirus, each alone didn't improve downloads
much. Together I got to the maximum speed my connection allows (only about 60mbps. rip in australia) I got the download done reasonably quickly anyway.

As for the high cpu and gpu usage in the launcher, I didn't get a response for that from the devs.

I saw a few comments about how I am running at or below the minimum spec. This is true, my computer is dated but once I did the fix I linked above I was able to download and run flight simulator just fine. That is in the actual game... Surely a loading screen
shouldn't tax my computer whether or not the game is a real hardware smasher. In fact, the loading screen actually hit my computer harder than low graphics did and it contains nothing in it. I suspect this is just an oversight from the devs running something
in the background even though there is a static image. The actual menu of flightsim does have 3d elements so it is somewhat justified.

I still think it is a bug, or at least an oversight, that matters since it's a needless waste of computational resources for nothing. It's not a huge deal once I got my download to be fast. If it had stayed slow, this would have been an appreciable of power
wasted for absolutely no gain.

Mbps is megabits per second which is what your internet speed is and yes that how they explaon it when selling you your connection

MBps is megabytes per second which is your average ,download.max

So at 80mbps its 10megabytes per second max depending on how far from the server you are ajd how many nodes you are passing

80mbps cpnnection /8 is your averagw download speed

Yeah, why exactly is my CPU and GPU running full whack? Why can't this run in the background.

I think we can assume the 'Msft is a **** dev' argument at this stage given their multiple balls ups in recent months. Every game I have issues with after a fresh install is inevitably a Microsoft store wondergem. At least there aren't any of your amazing Teredo issues
with this... yet

Please just sell through steam! Those guys actually know how to deliver software.
