Hiding Xbox One with Kinect behind a wall

Hi,

I'm hoping that will work. I have a Xbox one with Kinect and hoping I can hide all my equipment behind the wall, behind the TV. My goal is to only have my TV on the wall with the kinect on top of it and all equipment hidden. I will be placing an IR repeter
that will take the IR signal from in front of the TV and blast it to the Xbox, Cable box etc on the other side.

Will the wireless Xbox one controller work this way? Does it needs IR? Or does it work with RF frequencies?

I have to agree with the Condemned mentions as well...the guys knocking stuff off shelves,tearing conduits off of the wall making the electric go out and hiding behind walls waiting to pop out all added to that creepy feeling.

I find hiding behind the trailer still works for me. If not that, jump over the wall and there should be a bus that you can get into. That also kinda works.

 

Your controller will still work as long as it's synced to the console. You should run into any problem. Also, Might I recommend the xbox one Kinect tv mount if your going to have you Kinect set up like that. It will look even better when trying to hide wires.
