  1. Hiding And un-hiding apps

Ever since xbox dropped the update to where ready to install is in the games section and you have to use the bumpers to navigate to ready to install and Installed, I'm not able to unhide games in ready to install everytime I try LB+RB+X it just freezes
or it basically refreshes it. How do I unhide hidden games?

    :)

How to Hide and Un-Hide Games/Apps from Ready to Install

    Hello Xboxers!

Some users have asked how to hide and un-hide games/apps from the "Ready to install" list in "My Games & Apps"

That made this post, to explain how you can do it Hiding And un-hiding apps ;)

Hide Games/Apps: Just select the game from the "Ready To Install" List and press the "Menu button" (The one with 3 lines) and select "Hide"

Un-hide Games/Apps: To do this, press both triggers and X while in the "ready to install" tab. Now you will be able to see all games/apps that were hidden.

Regards and see you on live!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.

    Hello headshot,

Sorry to hear about the issue with hiding apps. Hold the left thumbstick in and then hit X. You should be able to hide items after that.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Been having the same problem and figured it out, the same button combo works LB + RB +X but you have to press all three at the exact same time but don't hold them down while you have that box that says "Here you will see digital purchases not installed on
this Xbox" highlighted, even then it's hit and miss. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

I believe that the problem is the new layout, as soon as you press LB it tends to take you back to the Installed section rather than showing your ready to install games.

Hmm interesting, I now found that if you go to the Installed games section, highlight the first installed game on your list, hold down LB, then quickly press RB and X whilst keeping LB held that then your shows the ready to install section where your list
of ready to install/hidden games will show.

What is also interesting is that once you leave that screen and go back to My games & apps the ready to install section will be empty again, so you have to do the whole process again.

Edit....Tried this a few times now and it works pretty well.

Also works for the apps section.

Left thumbstick and X does nothing when I try it, however that method in my previous post works every time.

I found the problem I believe, is your Xbox in the Insider program and in the leap ahead group ?

I just dropped my X back down to the Alpha group and indeed pressing and holding the left thumbstick and X does show your hidden games/apps so I can only assume it's a problem with the leap ahead update. For the leap ahead that just doesn't work but my previous
suggestion does. So either drop down to the Alpha group or use the other option.

When you open the context menu by using the MENU button on the application, so in the HIDE menu, it will work for you.
