Hidden in party chat?

I found someone who has the ability to hide in party chat. When he joins the party it shows him leave but we can hear him and he can hear us. He doesn't even show in overlay. How does this work?

Most likely some strange glitch never heard of this before and can't seem to find any answers on the situation.

I've heard of this before, It's a glitch some insiders have had before, it can happen due to multiple reasons. But that can be cause issues on several different things like some games refusing access to play them and other things.

But as someone suggested getting in touch with Microsoft support about it might be able to do something and trying to exploit this might get them into trouble as well Since community standards and modification technically speaking might be in touch with
there system so reporting the player might be the best course of action

If he can do it repeatedly I'd find out how he's connecting to the chat: Console, PC, or App. Report it to Xbox, the more info you can provide the easier it will be for them to track the issue.

The person said he modded his xbox with a usb even though you cant even do that. Should I report him or what should I do?
