Hi, Will a Xbox One S console purchased from the USA work in South Africa?

The xbox one S and X are designed with a multi voltage PSU inside the console however its best you purchase the console in your region due to warranty issues you will be able to use the console but you will need an adapter for the console to work as US has
Type A & B Plugs whereas in your region for South Africa you have Type D,M & N.

There is no article present regarding the xbox one X or S power supply requirements like there is for the original xbox one.

Furthermore its not ideal you use a travel adapter its best you use the proper equipment supplied with the console and in your home.

There is regular sales on Xbox consoles in South Africa. Shopping around from retailer to retailer you will get a price better than what you currently have.

It should work but your safest bet is to just get one from your region

Thanks for the info bro, you really gave me a bigger picture of what I'm getting into.

I don't think I'm gonna buy a xbox anymore because with both countries(USA & SA) I'm going to pay more than the thing cost.

Think I'll wait till the nintendo switch lite drop buy it and also upgrade my pc. lol ^_^

I wanted to buy it on amazon.So what your saying is that the warranty is going to void when the xbox is shipped to South Africa?

That's a huge bummer.Guess I have no choice than buying it here.
